Table For Six

Table of Six is a good concept with VERY poor execution. They are not good at match like minded people. They schedule dinners on days I have communicated I am unavailable and no matter how many times I call to tell them they don't return my phone calls. They promise group adventures, email me info on adventures from other cities and when I ask to be put on a list for my city they just canceled the email and send me nothing. When I was signing up the entire staff seemed SO cool and together and now they act as if they can't function in regards to simple requests. I feel completely ripped off! They charged me $1500.00 to waste my time going to expensive restaurants to meet people that don't fit my profile and then pressure me into dating people I don't like. They have no ethics. It is my sense they prey on single people who are too busy working hard to go out and meet others. I can not, in good faith recommend this service, even though they won't refund my money and it would behoove me if more people would sign up.

I recently went on a T46 dinner date. All the participants were great. John was probably one of the nicest guys I have ever met through T46. He had many great qualities. He Seems fun and interesting but also very solid. We had a really fun date. The date lasted for 3 hours and we all really enjoyed it. John and I had no lack of conversation. He is a very sweet guy, interesting, charming, good sense of humor, very likeable. Youthful in his attitudes and energy level and appearance, I like that a lot. He and I had many common interests both professionally and on the personal level.
The restaurant was nice and the food was great. One of the other girls at the table brought her car. She said the restaurant’s parking service was really good. I didn’t need to worry about that too much because I walked from my house which was only three blocks away. That was really pleasant.

The night went by so quickly because we all had so much fun. I definitely will be speaking to my matchmaker in the near future about setting me up on another event. Very impressive.

After experiencing the success of T46, I knew I had to tell as many of you guys as possible about what they did for me.

I became a member three years ago. I did all the necessary requirements, spoke to all the right people and paid all the fees for the services. That was the hard part. ?No pain, no gain?. From that came the ?goodies?. My first event was a picnic at the most beautiful nature reserve campus. They put me in a group of eight (three other guys and four girls). They made all the necessary arrangements and set everything up for us. We didn?t have to lift a finger for anything. We literally got there and immediately were showered with snacks and refreshments from the nature reserve guys. We sat by a stunning lake and got to know each other. I met this one girl named Samantha who was bright, intelligent, funny, and drop dead gorgeous. We clicked almost instantly. After sitting with the crew for a few hours, she and I decided to go for a walk on the lake shore. We walked for an hour or so and came back. When the event came to an end Samantha and I exchanged numbers and went our separate ways.

The next day, Thomas called me and said ?Samantha had a great time at the nature place and had a VERY great time with you. She wants to be set up on another event with you specifically to get to know you better?. Without hesitation, I said ?let?s do it?. ?Is there any kind of activity you prefer?? Samantha told me during our walk that she really enjoys horseback riding but never really gets the chance to go. I told Thomas set up a horseback riding event.

About a month later we went to some ranch in the mountains about a half our away. The whole time, Samantha and I rode side by side talking. It kind of reminded me of one of those western romance movies. I was very impressed at how well she knew how to ride a horse and I saw how compassionate she was when she pet the horse and always made sure it had something to drink. That?s the kind of girl

My motto is ?be happy?. Life is filled with good and bad which is obviously a test to see if you can remain happy. The way I see it, anyone who signs up with this company has a much better chance of being happy. Ever since I joined, I?m much happier than before.
Two years ago, I walked into their office in Sacramento and spoke with Heather who is the director there. She told everything I needed to know. All the services and prices were explained to me. After that, I sat down with one of their professional matchmakers named Suzanne. She gave me an interview for about an hour and a half. During this interview I was asked many different questions about my life and how I grew up and what kind of guys I would like to meet. She actually made me feel very comfortable. I was very impressed with them when I left.

About a week later, I got a phone call from my matchmaker. She told me about the service she had in mind for me where they sit you down at a restaurant with five other singles. She said that she put three guys on the list for this date that sounded great. Of course I told her that I was interested. The date occurred three days later. All the people at the table were great. We all had a great time and had really good flowing conversations. The actual restaurant was also great with a nice energy and a perfect environment for friendly talk between six people. After the date, we all exchanged numbers and said goodnight.

The next day, I called my matchmaker and told her everything. I told her that I had a great time and that I would like her to put me on another six person dinner night.

The next month I went on vacation with a few friends to Venice so I kind of forgot about the whole thing. When I came back, I had a few messages on my machine from Suzanne. I called her back and apologized for not telling her about my vacation. She told me all about the next event and about all the people taking part. I didn?t have a second?s thought of tell

It was getting really difficult for me to meet the girl of my dreams. I wanted to go around with someone who could actually understand me and share the same kind of interests that I do. I tried a lot of online dating and match-making services without any luck. Then one fine day, while browsing on the Internet, I came across this company that provides face-to-face match-making services. The more I read about the company and its services, the more I was convinced that they mean business. I am a lawyer you see, so I have this sixth sense that tells me what is right and what is wrong.

So I went ahead and signed up for the services. The relationship experts in the company listened to my dating choices, my hobbies, and my interests and said they would let me know as soon as they get the right date for me. It happened really soon! I got a call from the company for a dinner at a great restaurant over the weekend. You see, I was really enthusiastic about it; therefore I took my time getting dressed up. At the dinner I met two other guys and three girls all of whom were introduced by the company staff that was present. In a short period of time, I had started a really interesting conversation with the lady across the table. She was a brilliant lady who knew what quality conversation was all about. We shared contact details and started seeing each other more and more.

After moving to Sac I joined as a way to meet people. If I find Mr. Perfect and he is THE ONE - great! If I don't I have found a lot of fun things to do and great places to eat. The guys do outnumber the women and because of that they can be less picky on the men they allow to join. There was only one bad experience with a guy at an event but everyone else just pitched in to "rescue" eachother. You can negotiate your rate - even as a woman - I know I got a better rate then a lot of the guys I have talked to. There are those people who make a quick decision and then leave if they decide they aren't interested in the table but for the most part I have a great time. Most tables have lasted at least 2 hours and on a Friday night people may just head out for dancig as a group.

Fabulous - Best dinner table yet and can't wait for the next dinner event at Table for Six . A night to remember once again. I really enjoyed every one at the table. The conversation flowed so well and to make it better, there were lots of nice, attractive people there. I have never met so many nice folks at one time. Perhaps the next time after dinner we may have to dance or move the party to some place where we could dance till dawn.

I love these events. I can't wait till Table for Six has the White Water River Rafting event soon. I will sign up for it once they announce it.

I finally just had to get around to take the time and do this. I have been a member now for over a year. When talking about Table For Six, generalizations, especially those negative comments listed elsewhere on this site, are literally, irresponsible. I think these opinions are based on hearsay or distorted and mean spirited word-of-mouth. Some, I think, are outright lies (Why? Competitors?)
The members, and you realize over time, how many there are, reflect a spectrum of educated, successful people. I may not be the hippest person I know or associate with the coolest people but that doesn?t make me a loser or an ogre. I am pretty, (not 5?1? and 205) athletic, intelligent, not afraid of men and have had MANY GREAT EXPERIENCES with the male membership with the assistance of a really helpful and friendly staff. I'm now dating someone I met on a dinner and am very happy I joined.

Ditto! I went on my FIRST Tfor6 dinner this week in Sunnyvale and 2/3 guys were very unattractive and overweight. 2/3 of us ladies were professional, fit, and attractive. I got along best with one of the ladies. The other lady was a dweeb too.

Plus, the 'hostess' from Tfor6 was lame..just walked us to the table and left. I thought they were supposed to sit us next to the guys they 'picked' for us. What BS.

I've been frustrated w/ online dating b/c no one can seem to coordinate a meetup and the availability of educated guys just isn't there. Tfor6 assured me that they would find 'great' guys for me. I'm 36 and look 23 (their words, not mine) and they put me with the most frumpy, out of shape guys they could find. It sucked.

I'm going to badger them today for a refund.
